"Two Open Arms Mountain," a Feng Shui Stone

by Dato Chua Kok Hwa

This unique yellow wax stone gives the impression of a mountain in the vast sea of sand dunes in the Sahara Desert or in the isolated island surrounded by sea. It has a small and well-shaped mountain sitting on the highest flat terrain of another triangular mountain. This small mountain has two front curves which look like two open arms. Between the two open arms, there is a small gateway that draws in positive chi (energy). The chi circulates around the inner arms and the mountain peak prevents energy from escaping. As a result, the chi is being retained and absorbed into the stone. Couple with its color yellow, this stone is a jewel in the crown for the Chinese as it will bring good Feng Shui to the owner. For good Feng Shui, this stone will be best displayed at the main entrance of the home or office.

This yellow wax stone originates from Kedah or Perlis, they are both northern states of Malaysia in which most of the wax stones are found. This stone had been in the collection of Mr. Foong Let Kheong, a renowned daiza marker in Ipoh city, Perak state of Malaysia, for years and is now the collection of Dato’ Chua Kok Hwa.

The dimensions for stone are 20 cm wide, 18 cm high and 18 cm deep and for the small mountain are 14 cm wide, 4 cm high and 12 cm deep.
