Age and wear are part of our lives and the lives of trees and stones; only the amount of time they exist differs. A curved piece of strongly weathered driftwood and an eroded and pitted coastal stone combine to make a statement of comfort and age. The wood cradles the stone and provides and holds it upright to show the effects of long-term wear. In the recesses of the rounded pits are the remains of the rocks that have been reduced to tiny pebbles and sand.
