North America Viewing Stones: USA

The California Aiseki Club held its annual Viewing Stone Exhibition in the Botanical Center at the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Garden in San Marino, California from December 26 to 30, 2024. This display features viewing stones primarily from southern California collected by its members. It is the largest and finest exhibition of North American stones held in the U.S.A. Members of the club were present to answer visitor’s questions. A children’s table was set up outside the exhibition to encourage young people to hold and examine different types of stones. The week between Christmas and New Year's is one of the peak visitation periods for the Huntington. As a result, over 7,000 viewed the display.
