Vietnam is the eastern-most country in the Indochina peninsula that borders with China, Laos, and Cambodia. Extensive coastal lowlands are present in the southern part of this long narrow country that runs north to south. The mountain ranges in the central and northern regions are yielding many excellent viewing stones. These are often found in the rivers draining the mountainous areas.
