Lingbi

Lingbi ( 灵璧石) stones are perhaps the most popular and well-known of all the stones in utilized in Chinese stone appreciation. They originate in Anhui province and are heavily eroded limestone often in bizarre shapes and crisscrossed with calcite veins. They are mined from the earth, then cleaned. The larger specimens are used as garden landscape stones; the smaller stones are used as indoor viewing stones. They are typically gray in color, but they can also be yellow, reddish, and multi-colored.
